Are you receiving the same event twice, so that you want to deduplicate them? If so, I'd recommend checking the guide here: https://stripe.com/docs/webhooks#handle-duplicate-events

And yes, you should return 2xx even if the event is duplicated

Use incoming webhooks to get real-time updates

Listen for events on your Stripe account so your integration can automatically trigger reactions.

I am not, I just want to understand if I have to send a 20x response for a duplicated event, in order for the retries to stop

Ah yes! Even for duplicated event, the response should be returned with 2xx to prevent retry
