So, stripe is set up through wordpress.

When I make an account on our site, click 'Connect with stripe', it brings us to a page with that error and nothing more/nothing less on that page

Have you talked to Wordpress about this yet? It's likely that something is wrong on their end (they have the wrong client ID in there) and that's what's causing the issues

Backing up - are you the one building the platform? I'm not sure what Stripe Client ID is referring to since its not an exact match for the IDs we have. We have the Client application ID like I mentioned at https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/connect
