Hello 👋
No I don't think that is currently supported
What is the standard procedure for doing something like this then?
You would design the table yourself and use Stripe Checkout to confirm the $0 payment
But I think Checkout only supports $0 with no payment method when in subscription mode with a free trial
SOunds good, ill check it out
Would love to have that feature in the pricing table eventually
The trouble there is, your customer isn't making a purchase.
All the APIs the Pricing Table interacts with are used to create and track charges
Yeah, I have the free trial one. But you still have to enter credit card info. Which is a huge barrier.
There's nothing in our API for tracking the customer not buying anything
But this is a fully free tier, right? Not just a free trial?
Yeah you're right there is a free tier if I recall right.
There's both free trial and tier.
But both require credit card? Need to confirm that for free tier though
Wouldn't make sense tbh
Now that you mention it
Hmmm, where's the free tier? When I add a product and set the price to $0, it won't allow me to create the product.
Yes, that is the issue I ran into as well
Yeah only free trial, no free tier as far as I can tell.
Okay so yeah, we don't have a good solution for that right now. I don't see how we would track that, like I said all the APIs this is associated with are for tracking charges
For sure, I was just trying to see if I could piggy back on the 'customer' created/stripe customer database stuff. So someone signs up for free tier and enters their email etc.
That makes sense
