If you're doing usage based prices, those are always charged at the end of the period. What you could do is have a normal price fo represent a prepaid portion that gets charged at the tsart, and the rest of it can be the usage-based price

what if users won't be able to pay the price at the end of the period? who's going to collect it?

if you have retries enabled in your settings then we'd attempt to retry payment if it fails, but ultimately it's up to you to handle when a person isn't able to pay
