as my colleague explained both success and cancel urls are pointing to the same page

no, in the XML I am getting back, the urls are set correctly and I am redirected to OUR cancel page, not to the stripe dashborad - that is the problem. I should have redirected to the success page

I do get back the payment intent xml from your api
card payments work as expected. the error is only with SOFORT payment in the test environment
