Hello

#

Destination charges create a transfer to your Connected Account immediately

Geez you guys are fast

If you don't want to use manual payouts to control when these fund actually get paid out then you don't want to use destination charges

#

However, there are some region restrictions with that so you'll want to make sure that works for the location of your platform/connected accounts

The idea is that the customer pays the platform and then the platform will pay the connected account at somepoint in the future, like a week later.

Well yeah your two options are above then -- you either use destination charges + manual payouts on the Connected Account to control when the funds are actually paid out to the Connected Account's bank account, or you use Separate Charges & Transfers and wait to transfer the funds from your platform until you are ready to do so.

"destination charges + manual payouts on the Connected Account to control when the funds are actually paid" This is the one that I'm currently attempting. But this won't work if it automatically pays out immediately

#

The expectation is that the funds are in the platform account and available to payout to connected account later.

They aren't immediately paid out. They are immediatley transferred, and then they will sit in the Connected Account's balance until you initiate a Payout.

Okay, that makes sense. I'm needing the Sep. Charges and Transfers approach. Thanks for the help
