No, afaik the hold window depends on the type of payment method

Card payments: The amount is on hold for 7 days for online payments and 2 days for in-person Terminal payments. You can request an extended authorisation for certain online and Terminal payment authorisations that are eligible for extended validity periods.

I don't believe that add on is owned by Stripe
Its most likely a third-party who built it so we'd have no idea about how that works unfortunately.

You have it reversed. Third party integrates with Stripe. They use our APIs/SDKs to build they tools/add-ons/integrations

Stripe has no insights into how they build it and what they do with our APIs
