I dont think this is a question for support. I am wondering if payment intents are automatically retried during processing status.
We do have something called Adaptive Acceptance where we may retry a payment: https://stripe.com/guides/optimizing-authorization-rates#adaptive-acceptance
Is this an option setting? Or a feature that is always turned on?
I'm assuming Adaptive Acceptance was at play here but our support team can help confirm whether that was the case and discuss options to turn on/off
