That's correct -- Google Pay and Apple Pay just fall under the card payment method type

If you are using Stripe Checkout then Google and Apple Pay should show up out of the box

I do see Google Pay there, so the issue is likely that you don't have a live card in your Google Wallet

Which is required for the option to show up

You need to add a real card in your Google Wallet
