So you are still required to collect this information for most payment method types.

i am on the process of migrating from a hand made for that used paymentIntents api, to the paymentElements compoment, my previous implementation did not have the country field, and i dont see why i would need it, that is why i am trying to remove it

i currently have the following

With Payment Element it is required

So you either collect it via Payment Element or you can hide it and collect via your own input.
