hi! I would say yes. I mean to be clear, the Checkout Session itself does not 'fail' if the card details are incorrect. It just shows an error and you can keep trying.

The tab with the checkout session gets closed. Then how can I retry for the same invoice which is in open state?

hmm I've never seen that happen before to be honest, that's not how I've seen Checkout act before

do you have more details on how exactly you're integarting, what products and APIs you're using and the code used?

In general if you have an actual Invoice object in_xxx you can redirct the customer to the hosted_invoice_url field of it at any time, and they can pay there.
