my platform accepts payments in usd..but depending on the consultants bank account i have to either payout in dollars or in pounds..if its in pounds i get this error..wheras if its in dollars (i.e US bank account) it works and payout is success

That's because you don't have balance in GBP. You can only transfer in USD.

To be accurate, you can transfer USD balance to an UK account, and payout to a GBP bank account.
So there are two steps: 1. transfer in USD, 2. payout in GBP
