What is the process you are going through to test this?

The process is the creation of a connect account in test mode

You need to use the test phone number.

The last link in the text under the input for the phone number will autofill with the test phone number

You cannot directly set status on a Connected Account, even in test mode

This will take waiting days for verification checks to become past due

Oh sorry just one last question, can an account have restricted status from enabled status or it will always be first soon restricted ?

WHen it comes to the requirements being overdue this will follow the flow you described. However, I think we reserve the right to set an account to restricted in some situations. For more details about that I recommend writing in to Support here: https://support.stripe.com/contact
