Is there a way to force CVC recollection on the backend when creating PI, since we are confirming PI on the client side using SDK, like a setting that would prevent confirmation if CVC is not correct and it has to be given

I didn't find a way to force cvc from the backend. however you can pass the cvc directly from the backend with this parameter: https://stripe.com/docs/api/payment_intents/create#create_payment_intent-payment_method_options-card-cvc_token

I mean you can do the confirmation on the backend, and if DS if requested then re-do the confirmation on the frontend
