hi, what's the question?
hey
I have developed an app like Pleo for financial management, I have a webview in which I use PCI complaint elemtns to show card number, cvc, expiray date, pin
the client is asking me if is it possible to show card numbers of physical card, too
I'm only showing that for virtual cards
and I only show PIN for physical cards
you're generally supposed to do this by using our Issuing Elements components that will display the full number and other details; see https://stripe.com/docs/issuing/elements .
seems like it's only possible for physical virtual cards, so the answer to your question is no.
yes, sorry, I mispoke
ok , thanks
I
have another question
I have seen in Pleo that when you make a purchase you get a notification in your app which you should either reject or approve the payment, is it possible to implement this funtionality in issuing with stripe ?
but it says that we have 2 seconds to approve or decline, what if user who is making a purchase, accepts after 10 seconds for example
if you don't approve in time, a default action to approve or decline is taken, depending on your settings
I have no context on Pleo or what they do. But realise that this is all happening while the customer is entering their card on a website, or they're tapping their card at a reader in a coffee shop, the approval has to happen immediately(well 2 seconds), it can't just wait for an indeterminate amount of time for someone to react to a push notification
so practicaly it is impossible to let users acept or reject payments
