I am wondering if subscriptions have it's separate payment methods,
You could set a default payment method on the subscription too, however it would still be attached to the customer
Customer can have multiple attached payment methods but can only have one default.
Subscription can either use customer's default payment method automatically OR you can specify the one you want to use
