@potent lichen Hello! I don't really grasp what you are describing and why you'd want to authorize an amount and immediately refund

Like create a certain type of charge for an amount to they're card but not charge them yet

and if the request is declined it refunds the amount, or charges them if it is approved?

kind of a pre-authorization

just testing that their card can handle the charge
