Still looking in to this, not immediately sure why no PMs are showing up
All other invoices for this month have payment enabled on the link
I normally don't touch this system at all, it just runs
Gotcha, thanks for the context. That combined with the fact that this is not the first invoice on the subscription also makes it strange
Yes it also has "Charge to default payment method" configured on the sub
and an associated card on the customer
😄

It is
Hard to debug exactly why this Invoice has no payment method types, but looks like none of the previous ones did either but they just never had the initial payment fail.
Unfortunately since this is past the retention of our logs that would be relevant it is basically ~impossible to figure out the root cause.
So the options are basically to either recreate a new Subscription here, or write into our Support team so that we can fix this Invoice/Subscription up internally to get it into a good state.
You can mark it as paid or you could confirm the underlying PaymentIntent
Sure, but I also want the money
Right well you would need to collect a new PaymentMethod, so that depends on what you have set up to do that.
I have stripe invoice page do that
If you are solely relying on Hosted Invoice Page for that then you could create a new one-off Invoice
That would be incorrect as it's not paid
Well you would wait until the one-off is paid to do that
invoicing law states that once an invoice has been sent to the customer, you cannot alter it and you must either pay it or issue a credit note of equivalent amount
at least here
Gotcha
Then credit note sounds like the way to go.
I'm not familiar withe regulatory side so I can't speak to that.
Alright
I'll figure it out
Just wanted to make sure it wasn't me who'd done something wrong here
Definitely looks like a bug to me
An Invoice should not finalize with no payment method types associated
Sorry for the inconvenience
Unless it's "email customer", ?
Only way would be if it was $0 Invoice
Sure
But if it's "email customer" then it will finalize without a payment method
on the customer, that is
Payment method types
ah
Different from PaymentMethod
okay
That is the reason the Hosted Invoice Page does not render any payment form.
Becuase it thinks there are no types supported for payment
I got it
