Thanks for the request ID, can you send the json of the response that you get back? We don't log it for GET requests so I can't see it in your logs at the moment
yeah one sec it doesnt all fit
Are you seeing this new price ID at all? Because you are passing in a new price and a proration_behavior of always_invoice, I would expect invoice items for both prices because of the proration
no i dont see it at all
here i just put it into a text file since its too much for free discord
Thank you
That is strange that it is only showing the old price ID. Looking further in to this
we were doing regression tests of an application using this endpoint and noticed the issue so wanted to see whats going on. It seems like it was working OK for us a few months ago when we initially implemented it.
Gotcha, I'm actually having trouble reproducing what you are seeing at the moment. Still trying and will consult colleagues momentarily
Oh I missed the coupon, the 100% off forever coupon may the be the cause of this
Because the new price would be 100% off, so I think the one invoice item that you are seeing is for the time on the current price
hmm but it doesn't say the invoice item came from proration. Either way, can you try this call again without the coupon to see if you get the new price as well in the response?
Also if this is a regression test, can you tell me what response your test is expecting that was working properly a couple months ago?
We just made the request without a coupon and still had the same behavior.
We are expecting the response to show the new line item
That is so strange. I am always seeing both.

Thank you, passing that along to my colleagues as well
thank you
Any updates on this?
We momentarily thought that this might be related to the trial period on the subscription, that would make sense if only the new price was showing as that would get rid of the old price. But that is the opposite of what you are seeing, so we are still looking unfortunately
If you need to leave you can write in to support and we can follow up via email. We may even be at the point where we just need to escalate this and get back to you. Will quickly check in with my colleagues on that
ok let me know
Yeah it is looking like this will be a deeper investigation. Would you mind writing into support with a high level overview and mentioning that you talked to me? If you DM me your email, I can grab it and let you know what we find
