It sounds they created and control your Stripe account as part of they service that I assume you've signed up for

I havent signed up to leadpages i use to be on clickfunnels and it says at the bottom of my account clickfunnels on the left side

would i be best just opening a new stripe account?

If you want to assume full control of your account then yes. Can do it from the top left in your Dashboard
