You need to clone the customer + their payment method to the connected account. You can then used the cloned customer + PM to create a direct charge

if i clone the payment method and process the payment
am i going to be able to see the charge on the customer page of my platform?
like when you go to the customer page and see all his history
No, you'd only see the payment reflected on the customer that was cloned to the connected account
The origin customer and the cloned one aren't really tied together/synced - it's a one-time clone that just copies over what's needed
