Hey @sterile jungle I'm happy to help. Do you have a bit more details about the issue?
Sure. We have automatic payouts enabled and our configured statement descriptor is seen, but it also has a random ID attached to it.
Unfortunately we cannot find this ID anywhere.
The payout I am talking about is po_1OF4pq4TtkBkc2kuDMoOljYn. The statement descriptor in banking app is '{{ preconfigured statement descriptor }} + G7T3I9'
Where do I find this G7T3I9?
Also the trace_number visible in the Stripe dashboard that should be provided as e2e trace id is not visible in our banking app at Commerzbank.
Unfortunately none of this exists in the API today so you mostly can not do this sorry

So Stripe has no solution for us to help our customers to identify their payouts?
I mean there's a statement descriptor, an amount and currency, that usually should be enough
I can set the payout statement descriptor using the Account api right? So I can change it to include an ID that would be used in the next automatic payout right?
it might work but it seems unscalable and a recipe for mistakes
At this point I would recommend talking about this with our support team and they might be able to offer an alternative that wouldn't be in our public API: https://support.stripe.com/contact
