if the PaymentIntent is from an Invoice/Subscription it uses a different settings page in the Dashboard
Where I cant find it?

And it is only available in live mode?
the settings are shared between live and test so you can only edit them in live mode as far as I know yes
it's all quite messy unfortunately
I tested it, and leave only credit card, but paypal strill apperas. while editing payment methods paypal was unchecked and i need to activate it
maybe make sure you've saved the settings on that page, and then do a new fresh test
I done this few times, same thing. As I said before, paypal is available to activate, so it was not checked and it was displayed anyway
