Hello! We'll be with you shortly. Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. We help many users simultaneously, so a summary allows us to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

I'm sorry, but you need to summarize your issue here if you want me to help.

Why can't you read the thread? The first part is literally the summary

So this is your question?

I am creating a Stripe checkout session for subscriptions and passing in the tax_rates option with each line item. This works great and displays the price as you'd expect. However, if I then include a coupon code with 100% discount for 1 month, Stripe then displays that the price is 0 but then says in small underneath "Then 7.99 per month after coupon expires". This value is showing excluding tax. The tax is calculated further down, but because of the coupon this is also 0. It isn't clear to the customer that they in fact will be charged tax once the coupon expires. With a 50% off coupon, this displays as you'd expect with a breakdown of ex tax and tax amount.
Is there a setting somewhere I've missed?

Clearly so yes.

There is a bug in the Stripe checkout where it displays the message at the top excluding any tax applied.

Can you share a valid Checkout Session URL with this issue?

uncut zealot
#

Sorry, no.
I did that last time and was told it was being passed on to the teams at Stripe and heard nothing back.

#

Please escalate this issue internally with the Stripe dev team. I do not believe this is a coding error as I am unable to find any settings to control this.

I add a deeper look at the previous conversation, and I confirm that this issue has been raised internally.

THanks for confirming. Do you know if I'll be alerted somewhere if the issue is resolved? or there is any feedback?
