there isn't a way to retrieve the fee beforehand from the API but you can calculate it and bump up your application fee appropriately https://support.stripe.com/questions/passing-the-stripe-fee-on-to-customers

Is there an API to tell us what our rates are? Im concerned about it changing and not being told. It wouldnt be uncommon for a finance team to not tell a development team theyve negotiated a better rate .. 🙂

Unfortunately there is not an API endpoint for this but they will not be changed without you being notified
