I think there are options for you to define the order yourself, I think otherwise the ordering should be what Stripe thinks is best, so that ordering in the picture may just be a case of our optimal ordering not actually being optimal

We thought that Stripe could provide an intelligent sorting of these payment methods according to certain criteria, but it seems that Stripe's interface only offers a generic, non-optimized order! Have I understood correctly?

My understanding is that we do and that our smart ordering may just be turning up non-optimal results here. I am not finding much info on this but will consult my colleagues.

We could expect to have Bancontact as 1st suggestion in Blegium
and
iDEAL as 1st suggestion ofr Netherlands
Based on your documentation and the origin of each Bank Redirect

We were able to reproduce the behavior you are seeing in our own testing
However it was not consistent.
