@ivory sand you can't use Standard accounts for that flow so you'd use Express + https://stripe.com/docs/connect/separate-charges-and-transfers which lets you hold funds on the platform for a while

Will this be an additional charge? Say the payout is $50 per transaction to connected account. How does the pricing work for express accounts?

thanks. in our use case would only our stripe account that holds the funds be the express account or would all accounts have to be transitioned to express?

I think you could be confused a bit here. You are a Platform, and all your users will be either of Express or Standard Account. Here we suggest your users to be Express accounts
