I'm creating a setup intent on platform account and then cloning the payment method to connected account and create a payment intent, wanted to know will there be again a 3DS2 authentication check required again

Gotcha, I'm pretty sure we try to reuse the previous setups when cloning from your Platform account to Connected Accounts, and expect you to not see an additional 3DS requirement there most of the time. It's ultimately up to the issuer to decide when they require 3DS, so your flows should be ready to handle it just in case they decide to require the customer complete an authentication challenge again.

I would also suggest testing to confirm using our 3DS related test cards.
