hello, there's no way to test in production really as it all depends on banks and whether they prompt for SCA or not. Have you tested SCA in test mode?
yes, in test mode it works fine for me. I have the flow complete. my question is because I have a POS app, we can do card present with the stripe terminal but we can do "key-in" card as well. so that means the customer can share the card information with the merchant and the merchant can do the payment.
so in that scenario if the card require SCA the modal will appear but in the merchant monitor. so I wanted to know what kind of information the bank will be required I mean if this is just a OTP the customer can shared that with the merchant and that's all. but if that is some confidential information maybe the customer will not want to share it
isn't SCA on Stripe Terminal different? i.e. it doesn't show the same bank online 2FA modal that it shows on regular digital payments
AFAIK that was my understanding
Hi there 👋 jumping in as my teammate needs to step away soon. I would also recommend checking with your legal advisors on whether that is permitted, I was under the impression that the customer had to be completed directly by the end-customer. But happy to disuss further if we've left anything unanswered!
