I can't find any information regarding this error online. I was previously using Connect accounts in test mode to test API calls for connected accounts (as per the Stripe app docs). However the error persisted after removing all of the test connected accounts I had created.

Ok thanks, I did that last thursday but haven't had a response back yet so figured I'd create a ticket here too
