I believe we'd only have an exchange rate if we converted the funds to settle them. As an example, if you had a US account w/ a USD payout account, any USD payments wouldn't need to be converted at all. But if you accepted EUR payments, those would need to be converted to your settlement currnecy of USD

I understand, I meant to ask in case the charge is in foreign currency (relative to the user account's currency): will Stripe alwasys convert the funds, or can it potentially depend on some account seetings etc.
It'll depend on the specifics of your account - like we mention in the doc I linked you to, it depends on what kind of bank accounts you have linked to your account
