Gotcha, and how are you collecting these PaymentMethods? Are you using a SetupIntent?

Thank you for your response. Stripe is connected to Chargebee and we only pass the credit card token to Stripe

Hmm yeah I think in that case Chargebee is handling the initial validation here for you and you will actually want to work with them on how they are setting up these PaymentMethods.
