hey, I did contact support, that's when I found out about the wrong routing number used.
I am talking to them about it, but they seem confused about ACH payments with manual verification, so I thought I'd ask here, since its more of a integration question

basically I wanted to know when we choose manual verification option with ach payments (when using stripe payment elements ui) we are asked to enter the bank account number and routing number, at this stage is there any config/api that can force validation of the routing number entered?

AFAIK that's why you'd generally want to always use the 'instant verification' flow โ€” Financial Connections , with the bank login OAuth popup and so on, since then it all just works and is verified. Microdeposits and manual entry are a bit harder to use and validate because of reasons like this and really should just be the fallback. I don't think there's a specific way to validate the routing number no.
