I understand that but I think the Charge object is meant to be separate from any refunds/disputes. It might make more sense on the Payment Intent (if used).

Just somewhere where you can get the actual net value without having to calculate it yourself

Okay I filed that as feedback internally. If you want to be updated of any changes you can write in to Support: https://support.stripe.com/contact but I think a change like that would also show up in our API changelog https://stripe.com/docs/upgrades

You already "have" the value as you surface it on the dash

but this 237.24 value does not appear anywhere in the API as far as I can tell

So should be pretty easy to get it in there
