Hello
Are you asking about using MPANs like discussed in https://stripe.com/docs/apple-pay/apple-pay-recurring ?
yes
Gotcha, no there is no extra fee for using that integration and you use it with recurring payments within Stripe.
Thank you
Do you know if the same recurring issue exist on google pay and is there a way to resolve?
What do you mean by "recurring issue" exactly?
Google doesn't limit Google Pay in terms of recurring transactions
Apple is much stricter on this stuff
even off session?
Correct
Thank you again.
You can tokenize with Google Pay, set it up for future use, and use it for recurring
ok. thats what weve got. we just dont get a lot of google pay traffic to know for sure
👍
We try to call it out here: https://stripe.com/docs/google-pay
Google Pay is fully compatible with Stripe’s products and features (for example, subscriptions), allowing you to use it in place of a traditional payment form whenever possible. Use it to accept payments for physical goods, donations, subscriptions, and more.
Im to come back again. But after you set up the merchant token using the MPAN solution, do you charge the customer using a Payment intent with off-session: true like with the DPAN solution? I can find documentation to actually collect in the funds using that solution. and is there extra attributes i need to set to let link the merchant token to the charge or payment intent?
