Hi there!
The main different between the Card Element and the Payment Element is that the Payment Element offer many more payment method.
If you need help to prevent card testing, I recommend reading this article: https://stripe.com/docs/disputes/prevention/card-testing
Ok thanks
Happy to help 🙂
Do you know if the IP address is sent automatically to Stripe through the PaymentElement when confirming ? They say it's one of the measures to help adding signals to prevent card testing. If not, where should I add the IP address ?
If you are using Stripe.js, then yes these types of signals are automatically collected by Stripe.
Okey, so I was wondering that it wasn't the case: for example this payment https://dashboard.stripe.com/payments/pi_3MbHQVH5tvrIOuhg1c85Yw84. How did it ever been able to succeed when there were a dozen of attempts blocked because of card testing ?
For this types of questions, you should ask Stripe support directly: https://support.stripe.com/contact
