Alright, I hoped that the question would be "technical" enough to fit the criteria as to the API being the main vector of (ab)use here. However I understand that security is a sensitive topic and I will reach out to the appropriate contact.

Just to add up, do you maybe have a direct contact at Stripe I could reach out to? You could forward me an appropriate email via dms. It would save me the struggle of having to go trough the whole support queues until I (maybe) reach someone with the appropriate knowledge.
