got it
Taking a look
Making sure I'm understanding your concern correctly, it's specifically about times_redeemed getting updated even if the Coupons redemption does not cause an impact to the Subscription currently?
two concerns:
why it is applied on the product for which it was not configured ? discount object is there but totals are correct
Since it was not meant for the product to be purchased, still it is considered as redeemed. why ?
It was applied to the Subscription, not to a specific Subscription Item. The discount didn't have an impact because the associated Product isn't currently in the Subscription, but that doesn't block the Coupon from being attached to the Subscription. If the Subscription is updated later to include the Product the Coupon does apply to, and the Coupon is not removed from the Subscription, then the Coupon will begin having an impact.
To summarize, applies_to only changes when the Coupon will have an effect, it doesn't prevent it from being applied.
