Hi 👋 it depends on the funding source that was used and how long they take to settle. For testing purposes, I would recommend using one of these test cards that cause funds for their payments to skip the pending step of the balance and go straight to being available.

Thanks, but I did use a test card. I wonder if it is because it seems the test card source is USA and connected account is UK? (I am a UK system so would really prefer to use UK test cards anyway)

I linked to a section with two specific test cards, most test cards skip the pending balance state.
