Hello! We'll be with you shortly. Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. We help many users simultaneously, so a summary allows us to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

Correct, you must pass a country on confirmation if you're hiding the field from the Payment Element

So if i'm hiding a field i have to provide in confirmation, but this data would be inaccurate.

Which data?

Billing Address. I'm using Payment Element and hide the BIlling Address.

I get that, yep. But what about it is inaccurate? Not sure I understand what you're asking me

#

If you hide the billing fields in the Element, you need to collect them elsewhere and provide them in confirmPayment

User won't be giving their address, so only solution is to use another address. Are there any default values i can use?

weak maple
#

I mean you can pass any arbitrary value if you want, but you risk the payment being declined as that is sent to the card networks

#

The UIs and APIs are optimised the collect the necessary information for payment conversion, hence why billing country is a requirement

We have a video streaming website, we don't require the user address at any point. We offer free trial and need to confirm their card details are correct. What do you suggest?

#

just billing country or all billing address (line1,line2,post_code etc)

It's normally country and ZIP as a minimum for most countries

#

Those are pretty standard fields for payments online. I'd imagine your users would be used to providing them
