What's the payment intent ID?
network_status: "declined_by_network",
reason: "generic_decline",
risk_level: "not_assessed",
seller_message: "The bank did not return any further details with this decline.",
type: "issuer_declined"
},```
The issuer declined the transaction, you can ask your customer to check with issuer ro use a differetn card
We have tried with couple of Amex Cards but says the same
Card not supported
Furthermore, I am checking the settings here I can see only Visa and Mastercard mentioned
It's a issuer decline, have you reached out to the card issuer?
https://stripe.com/docs/payments/cards/supported-card-brands#online-card-brand-capabilities amex is supported worldwide except for customers in india.
We have asked client to reach out his bank and ask .. meanwhile we are checking with you to figure out the issue
It's a card decline, there's no thing you or Stripe can do here.
From the article you shared .. I can see our account country is the key
Ah, yes it's not supported in UAE
Ooh, then we are loosing sales in case client has no alternative
Is there a way forward for this
Or you can use https://stripe.com/atlas to create a US entity to bypass this restriction
