Apologies, still looking in to this. I do see that the card was activated five minutes before the auth was created. I am consulting colleagues on why we may have errored like this

yeah I activated the card from the API. Then I deactivate and reactivate from the dashboard a couple of times after that
Yeah we see the activations and re-activations. Shows up as active when that auth was created so I am wondering if it errored some other way and provided a misleading error message

We are still having trouble figuring out what is happening here and it looks like we are going to need to pull in others to look further in to this, which will take some time.
