Good question. Checking in to this. I think it would have to allow inputting card details directly as well but I am looking in to it

In that setting, GPay and Apple Pay fall under the card umbrella

Unfortunately it looks like this is not possible at the moment. If you define card as the only payment method type, the only things that will show up are the GPay/Apple Pay button and the card form, but it is not possible to hide that card form in this scenario at the moment

I actually do see the GPay button when I go to the page

So your wallet may not be set up properly. You need cards already in your wallet for Apple Pay or Google Pay to show up in Checkout

For Google Pay you can add real cards or use this test suite

Ahh ok, so it's something related to the client opening the session page rather than how the session setup page is configured

I actually am not seeing Apple Pay though. It may be because Apple Pay only supports being saved for subscriptions. Will look further in to this and get back to you

Ah, so it looks like Apple Pay does not support setup mode for Checkout

I do see that you have metadata related to a subscription for this. Are you trying to allow your users to add a payment method on an existing subscription herE?
