They sent me back to you. The payment description is within your terms of functionality. The fetched metadata is from WC, yes, but this is about data that I have now manually updated in your application and should show within the reports.

Hello? 😅 Is there anyone I can talk to? I've spent around 4 hours talking to Stripe support + WooCommerce combined now, I really need a solution at this point.

As I mentioned, I can't help much beyond Stripe API. If it has to do with the reports that you download on Stripe Dashboard, you can reach out to Stripe Support: https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true

Right now a feature from Stripe is not working as expected.

If I manually update a payment description of an order, it should theoretically appear in an updated report through Stripe, correct?

What do you mean by "payment description of an order" in Stripe terms?

If you go through https://dashboard.stripe.com/payments into an order, it lets you update the payment description.

There's an "edit" function.

WooCommerce only fetches the order number, so I manually updated it to the info I needed it to be.

However, the updated description does not show in the Stripe report exports. I need help with that.

I don't know what goes into the reports, so you will need to reach out to Stripe Support for this: https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true

You can list all the PaymentIntents via the API though: https://stripe.com/docs/api/payment_intents/list
