these are the conditions to make it happen:

chrome on mac os
chrome payment method autofill

it doesn't happen with password manager autofill

we see various issues with autofill sometimes and we've made changes to stripe.js in the past to workaround some problems, but not much I can say without digging in and reproducing and understanding all the details like exact version of Chrome so best to create a support ticket
