Ah that's not possible with payment links, but you can do it with checkout. See this: https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/build-subscriptions?ui=stripe-hosted
You'd pass customer id here: https://stripe.com/docs/api/checkout/sessions/create#create_checkout_session-customer
