Hello! We'll be with you shortly. Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. We help many users simultaneously, so a summary allows us to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

Hi 👋

can you summarize the current state of your question here please?

Yes of course. I am working in the customer portal.

I would like for people to only be able to edit and cancel specific subscriptions, not all of them.

The use case is:

I have two products - a higher priced subscription and a lower priced subscription.

I want the higher priced subscription to only b e able to be cancelled by us.

I want the lower price to be able to be able to be managed by the client.

#

I am unable to successful able to get this to work (I have 0 coding skills so want to accomplish this without code)

#

in the most recent thread above, i have a loom video explaining the situation in more detail

We do allow you to create Customer portal sessions that are specific to either an Update or a Cancel flow and when doing that you can specify the Subscription you want the customer to interact with.

You set this with the flow_data parameter here: https://stripe.com/docs/api/customer_portal/sessions/create#create_portal_session-flow_data.

Our docs describe it as Deep Linking since it takes your customer directly to those Update/Cancel screens and we describe the process here: https://stripe.com/docs/customer-management/portal-deep-links#what-is-a-flow

#

is there a way to do this without code or is this the only way to manage this?

#

and if code is required, is that something you can help me with or something i should hire someone for

This server is focused on helping developers coding integrations with the Stripe APIs

#

So all our advice will focus on coding
