when the user completes the connect account setup using the link generated from above mentioned API. If the process is successfull I want to make some changes to my database..... Right now the functionality i have is, when the setup is completed it is opening my website. I want to hit and end point on my backend and from there I will return a URL which will take them to my website or mobile app

You can do that, but you would need to build that yourself on your end.
