The hardware orders API is still in beta so we cannot offer much in the way of advice about it here. In our docs https://stripe.com/docs/terminal/fleet/placing-orders#use-the-hardware-orders-api we share the following email address to get information: stripe-terminal-betas@stripe.com
no im not using that API, im simply trying to order a test M2 Reader and a test card. But i placed the order in "test" mode and had to use a test card? So i was just confused.

Unfortunately this still isn't something I would know about, the focus of this server is coding integrations with Stripe APIs. I realize our docs are somewhat unclear about this. I don't think we will actually ship you a terminal (I have an order that is in a status of Ready to Ship since Oct 2022).
