I want to receive payments form the customer of a custom amount they put.
What exactly is the payment method you accept? Card or something else?
Card and indian bank account that I store against a customer
Yes okie. What do you use on frontend? I would recommend Checkout for simplicity
Yes. It's a website. Laravel as frontend.
You sure? Laravel is a backend framework
I meant frontend = JS, which is either Checkout or PaymentElement
Oh yes. I am using checkout here. My concern is to built a digital wallet for customer where they can deposit balance using card and bank accounts. Here, they are allowed to put a custom amount to be deposited. How can this be achieved?
Here is the a raw UI.
You there?
Can you provide your account id? acct_xxx
I cannot see the intent. Can you expain?
Your Stripe Account id, from your Stripe Dashboard
I hope you have the clear idea what I am trying to achieve. Let me know if I am headed in the correct direction and wether it can be implemented using stripe?
Yes I understand, but I need your Stripe Account Id first (acct_xxx) from your Dashboard
How is that going to help you?
I can look at your requests history and see what exact requests you have called
Yeah sure. But, I have not yet implemented anything and made none requests. I am about to implement the flow and trying to get a clear idea how can that be achieved.
I see, but you at least have a Stripe account, no?
If not where do you get the Secret Key and Publishable Key from?
Yes I have the stripe accoumt created.
